Welcome to Petit Caron. The little brother of Café Caron. Once started on the Gerard Douplein but now situated next to Café Caron in the Frans Halsstraat at number 26.
Petit Caron is a bar à manger inspired by the many bars in Paris, classic in a new twist.
Also here you eat and drink according to our philosophy, high quality products and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu consists of small dishes, recognizable and innovative, without order carefully composed by Chef Rogier Trip and Alain. The wine list is European and extensive, with room for every taste profile and always a lot by the glass of course!
Open from Monday to Saturday from 18:00. On Saturday you can have lunch with us from 12:00 - 14:30. On Sundays we are closed.

Groups can reserve a table with us online via the widget, are we full online? Just give us a call! For some of our bar à manger we work with a walk-in policy, come by and we will lovingly find you a spot at the table or the bar!

Restaurants Caron was founded in 2016 by brothers Tom and David and their father Alain Caron. With their first restaurant, Café Caron, they wanted guests to experience Alain's take on French cuisine. The restaurant quickly earned a permanent place in the Amsterdam hospitality landscape. Caron now has four restaurants in Amsterdam, each with its own interpretation and perspective of a home-style restaurant driven by the French bistro movement.
